Weekly Special: Petite Sirloin Steaks
Jan 21 2014 -- Our local Albertson's store was offering a special Buy 1 Get 2 Free deal on a selected variety of fresh meat. We picked up 3 packages of petite sirloin steaks for $9. That works out to $3 a meal for protein. 

We also buy our long grain rice at a local dollar store for $1 a package that lasts us for quite a few meals. As a bonus we had left over rice from one of our meals and made a wonderful creamy rice pudding for dessert the next day.
