Anyone can open a can of corn and heat it in a pot for a side dish for dinner, but taking just a couple of extra minutes, adds a touch of love and a great home-cooked taste. This is even better if you're using fresh kernel corn off the cob.
4 cups of kernel corn (fresh, canned or frozen) 1 tbsp flour 1 tbsp sugar 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup butter salt and pepper
In a bowl mix together corn, flour, sugar and water.
Heat, melt butter in skillet. Add in corn mixture and heat thoroughly. Salt and pepper to taste.
