Once in awhile Mr. Mom's Pantry forwards a post to my wall, as a hint to try out a recipe. The most recent "hint" was for 7-Up biscuits. I'd seen them many times before, even shared a recipe or two for them but had yet to make them. Today it was time to take away the mystery. I'm glad I did.
As many before me have stated, they're super easy, tender and soft, buttery and delicious. I now only have 10 left to impress him with when he comes through the door after work.
Ingredients
4 cups Bisquick mix 1 cup 7-up 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup butter.
Instructions
Heat oven to 425.
Melt butter and spread on cookie sheet.
Mix together Bisquick mix, sour cream and 7-up. *The dough will be very soft and sticky. Don't fret. Just pat it out to about 1/2 inch thickness on floured counter, and cut into 12 biscuits. I used a drinking glass dipped in flour to do this.
Place the cut biscuits on the cookie sheet, allowing them to touch.
Place in oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
That's it. In just a short time you'll have soft fluffy biscuits for your dinner or breakfast table. It's really that easy!
