2 ½ cups chicken broth 1 cup brown rice ¼ cup wild rice ½ t salt 2 T butter ½ cup pecan chips 1 T olive oil 1 cup chopped sweet onion 1 cup chopped apple ¼ t nutmeg Salt/pepper
Instructions
Bring broth to boil. Add rice. Simmer for 45 min or until rice is done.
While rice is cooking, toast pecans in butter in a skillet.
Remove pecans and in the same pan sauté the onions, apples, and nutmeg until the onions are golden brown and translucent.
