Ingredients
1 box Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Butter Recipe Fudge Cake mix (we used a similar version of Betty Crocker's and it worked fine) 2 eggs 1/2 cup melted butter 6 oz chocolate chips 1 cup chopped nuts (we used walnuts) Confectioner's sugar (optional)
Directions:
Heat oven to 350F. Spray a 9x13 pan thoroughly with non-stick baking spray.
Mix together cake mix (dry), butter and eggs. Stir until completely combined. Add in nuts and chocolate chips and mix again until everything is combined.
Pour into the baking pan and press down evenly. (see tip below)
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Do not over-bake or they will be dry rather than chewy.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars/squares.
Dust lightly with confectioner's sugar if desired.
