I dislike wasting money, simply because, like many of you, I don't have a lot of it to throw around and yet there are things I won't give up - so as static free, soft clothes -- so this idea for replacing those cost accumulative dryer sheets appeals to the frugal me. It's easy, saves money, and has less chemicals.
Also - we keep a old tennis ball handy and when we need to take the static out of clothes, we toss it in the dryer with the wet clothes and it really works!
