Ingredients
6 c bread cubes, toasted 1/4 c minced onion (dry) 1/2 c minced celery (dry)* 1 tbsp parsley flakes 1/2 tsp thyme 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp sage 1/3 tsp salt 3 tsp bouillon granules (beef or chicken) optional
Instructions
Toss seasonings well with the bread cubes. Divide into 3 - 2 cup portions and seal in a seal-able bag or mason jar.
To mix the stuffing:
Heat 1/2 cup of water or stock (chicken or beef as preferred) with 2 tablespoons of butter.
Once it has boiled and the butter melted, remove from heat, and add 1 bag (2 cups) of the seasoned bread crumb mixture. Mix to moisten all of the bread crumbs. Cover and let sit.
Fluff with a fork when you're ready to serve.
*If you cannot find minced celery, omit from recipe and add your own fresh finely chopped pieces at the cooking stage.
