Buttermilk Pie

(This was shared with her by a friend 30 years ago and is Sharon's most requested dish for get-togethers) 2 C sugar 1tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tblsp cornstarch 3 lg. eggs 1/2 C butter 1 C buttermilk Mix well, pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425* for 10 minutes, reduce temp to 325* and bake 45 minutes or until filling is set and lightly browned. |
