Ingredients 1 cup butter 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp salt 3 tsp grated orange rind 1 tsp baking soda 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 3 cups flour
Glaze 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp orange juice zest from one medium orange 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F
In a mixer, cream butter and sugar. Add in eggs, one at a time and continue to beat until incorporated and creamy. Add salt and orange rind and mix well.
Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk and add to the creamed mixture, alternating with flour. Mix well.
Pour into a well-greased bundt pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
