Got this idea from my favorite grocery store. The kids loved making them. Of course, I did the deep frying. Great to decorate your Breakfast Buffet table/plates.
How-To's:
Stack tortillas and wrap tightly in foil.
Heat in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes to soften.
Let your kids fold tortillas into quarters and cut out small geometric shapes from the edge and middle.
An adult should fry one tortilla at a time in a large skillet in 1/2-inch-deep hot fat (375 degrees) for 30 to 60 seconds or until brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
Sift powdered sugar lightly over them.

NOTES:
We baked our the leftover cut-out pieces to make tortilla chips.
You can also brush with oil and bake on a cookie sheet until crisp.
