5 ounces dried beef, chopped 3(8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 2c shredded monterrey jack and cheddar cheese blend divided 6 green onions, finely chopped 2 stalks celery finely diced approx. 1/3 cup pitted olives diced 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon course ground pepper 1/2 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
Reserve about a cup of shredded cheese. (optional, i am allergic to nuts so i use the cheese to roll the ball in, you can also incorporate this cheese in the ball as well and roll in 1 cup finely ground almonds or walnuts if you choose to do so, or not roll in anything at all which i have done before as well , as in the picture)
In a separate medium bowl, combine the beef, cream cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, Montreal steak seasoning and seasoned salt plus all other ingredients Mix well and roll into a ball.
Roll the ball in the reserved cheese or nuts, coating the entire outside of the ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for two hours and serve with club crackers, townhouse or ritz.
