This is the reason I love administrating Mom's Pantry:
One of our readers shared a recipe with me privately and I gave it a test run. So easy, and so yummy! The whipping cream in this picture is melting because I couldn't wait until it was completely cooled to give it a taste.
Ingredients and Instructions:
I was told to make it in a bundt pan, but we don't own one of those, yet, so I made it in a 9x13 pan.
The recipe is simply two ingredients -- a one step angel food cake mix and a (21 oz) can of crushed pineapple.
Mix them together in a deep bowl because it will foam.
Pour into a prepared pan (9x13 in my case) and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool (oops, couldn't manage that completely) and top with whipping cream to serve. (I added a handful of fresh, sweet shredded coconut to the cake mix as well. Yum!
