Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning 1 T minced garlic 1 small onion, diced 1 can Grands biscuits Shredded cheese Salsa Jalapeño peppers, optional
Brown beef, onion, and garlic. Drain. Stir in taco seasoning.
Press the Grands biscuits into wells in a cupcake pan. Make sure you press the dough up the sides to form a cup. Spoon in beef mixture. Add a T of salsa to each. Add a jalapeño slice or two if desires. Top with a good amount of shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until biscuits are done and cheese is melted. Approximately 18 minutes.
1 pound of ground beef will make more than one can of biscuits. I just store the remaining taco meat for burritos but you could make more cups if you used 2 cans of biscuits.
Note: Grands Flaky Layers doesn't work well. Also, you can a lot of variety with this. Ideas include: chicken, spinach, and Alfredo sauce or cheeseburger cups or mini chicken pot pie cups. You could make these Italian style by adding browned Italian sausage, basil, pasta sauce, and cheese or pizza style with pepperoni, pizza sauce, and mozzarella. What about peanut butter and honey? Yummy!
Karen says: I took these to a family Thanksgiving dinner and the kids loved them.
