In a small bowl, place the beef bouillion cubes in warm water and set aside.
In another bowl combine the ground beef, egg, cracker crumbs, minced onions, and spices. Shape into 2 large patties or 4 smaller ones.
Fry pattied in a pan, for five minutes on each side, over medium heat. Remove patties from the pan and set aside. Discard excess grease.
Melt butter in the same pan and saute mushroom slices. Add the flour, stirring constantly until mixed well. Add water and bouillion to the pan, and stir to combine completely until thickened.
Re-add the meat patties, and cover with a lid. Allow to cook on simmer for 10 minutes.
