Ingredients
4 pork loin chops 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 cup root beer 1 cup ketchup 1 tbsp brown sugar 2 teaspoons chili powder 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder olive oil
Directions
Place flour, salt and pepper in a re-sealable gallon bag. Place the pork chops one at a time in the bag and shake until they are coated.
Brown dredged pork chops, in a small amount of olive oil until golden brown. Set aside.
In a deep skillet combine the root beer, ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Heat to a soft boil. Allow to cook until the sauce is slightly reduced.
Add the pork chops back in and cover. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through.
