Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
6 pork chops 6 Tbsp oil 5 cups sliced potatoes 6 slices of American cheese salt and pepper, to taste 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cans cream of celery soup 2 1/2 cups milk
Brown pork chops on one side in skillet with hot oil.
Remove chops from pan and set aside.
In same pan saute chopped onion, until translucent. Add in milk and cream of celery soup and mix well, heating through.
In a 9x13 prepared pan, layer 1/2 of the potatoes.
Cover with cheese slices.
Cover cheese with remaining sliced potatoes.
Place pork chops on top of potatoes, browned side up, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Cover the entire casserole with the onion/soup/milk mixture.
Cover with foil, and bake for 60 minutes at 350 F.
