Pork Chop and Biscuit Casserole
This recipe is so easy to make. It was a hit with Mr Mom! You can make it with chicken if you wish, as well. Make a fresh salad to go with it and you have a complete meal. Ingredients
4-6 boneless pork chops 1 can refrigerator biscuits 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted) 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped onions 1 egg 1/4 tsp pepper 1/8 tsp poultry seasoning (or sage/thyme)
Brown pork chops in a skillet. You do not need to cook them completely, just give them color on each side.
Place pork chops in the bottom of a prepared 9x9 baking pan.
Combine all other ingredients , except biscuits, in a small bowl.
Cut up uncooked refrigerator biscuits into 8 pieces each. Combine with the soup mixture. Spoon over pork chops.
Bake at 350F for 50 minutes (or until biscuits are cooked and nicely browned on top.
