2 pkgs of Pillsbury biscuits, regular sized toppings of your choice (we chose chopped sausage, chopped green peppers and shredded mozzarella cheese) 1/2 cup tomato or pasta sauce 2 tbsp melted butter garlic powder Italian seasoning
Place chicken pieces inside of your slow cooker.
In a bowl mix together brown sugar, vinegar, soda, garlic, soy sauce, and pepper. Pour it over chicken. Turn crock pot on low and cook for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. (I did mine on high for 4)
Remove chicken from sauce, shred into pieces, and set aside in a bowl. Strain remaining sauce into a saucepan and turn burner to high.
Combine cornstarch and water in a cup and pour into the saucepan. Mix well with a whisk until it boils. Remove from heat. Pour thickened glaze over shredded chicken and mix well. You may add red pepper flakes for extra heat if desired. I didn't.
