Pineapple Beef Rice Dish
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef 1 large green pepper, chopped up to 1/2 “ size 1 large can of crushed pineapple, drained
Cook 3 cups of Minute Rice according to package directions (substituting 1/4 cup of water with 1/4 cup of soy sauce)
Brown and season the ground beef to your taste ( I use garlic and onion powders . Drain any grease out from the beef, add the green pepper and pineapple and let simmer for about 20 minutes. In a LARGE bowl combine the beef mixture and the rice. Stir and Serve.
Any leftovers can be 3 days in the Fridge or put in a dish and freeze for later, then just reheat. This recipe is also great as a make ahead meal for when you just have time to heat something up . You can also heat this meal in the microwave .
