Peppermint Patties
Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature 4 cups powdered sugar 1 tbsp butter, room temperature 1/2 tsp peppermint extract Melting chocolate
Mix cream cheese and butter together. Add in confectioner's sugar until the mixture forms a soft dough ball. It shouldn't be sticky, and should roll easily into balls.
Add extract and mix well.
Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.
Refrigerate patties for 2 hours until chilled and firm.
Melt chocolate according to package.
Dip chilled patties into the chocolate, and place on the wax paper. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
