This is similar to my regular favorite cobbler recipe, although it uses half of the sugar, and I used peaches canned in water. I also used skim milk instead of regular and it tastes great! The method is also slightly different, but the taste doesn't suffer one little bit.
Ingredients
1 can of peaches, do not drain 1/2 cup butter 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup milk 2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Melt butter in the bottom off a glass 9" pie plate.
In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, milk and baking powder. Pour over top of the butter but DO NOT STIR.
Pour the peaches, water and all over top of the batter. Again - DO NOT STIR.
