I've been eyeing this idea on Pinterest for awhile and today was the perfect day to try to it out because I had an extra pair of little hands to help me prepare them. We had a lot of fun making them, and even more fun eating them. I had mine with mustard and he had his with ketchup.
These are so simple it seems silly to write out the recipe but here ya go :)
Ingredients
1 box of cornbread mix (or a batch of homemade (see links below) 3 hotdogs cut into 1 inch pieces
Directions:
Heat oven to 375F.
Prepare your mini muffin tins with cooking spray. Be sure to do it well, cornbread tends to stick.
Fill muffin cups 1/2 full with the cornbread batter (prepared as directed). Place a piece of hotdog in the center of each one.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 5 more minutes and then remove from muffin tin. Serve with mustard or ketchup.
