This casserole is hearty and filling. Serve it with a crisp green salad and you've got a complete meal. Add as many vegetables (onions, green peppers etc) as you would like to round this out.
Ingredients approx 10 Hawaiian rolls 1 lb bag frozen meatballs, thawed (or make your own -- in which case you would have them cooked and drained) 1 (28 oz) jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce 1 cup water 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 tsp Italian Seasoning 1/4 tsp pepper
Slice rolls in half and arrange on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
With an electric mixer, combine mayo, cream cheese and seasoning. Beat until well combined. Spread this mixture over the buns.
Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
In another large bowl, mix together meatballs, spaghetti sauce and water. Add in vegetables of your choice. I added sliced peppers. Onions would also be a great addition.
