Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef 1 pound lean ground turkey 1 ½ teaspoons Mrs. Dash 1 – 1 ½ teaspoons salt (to your taste) 2 eggs 1 ½ sleeves of ritz low fat crackers crushed in the food processor ½ cup barbeque sauce (I use one called the Jug) or a little more 1 T Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Combine all above ingredients and divide equally into two (one pound) loaf pans or 4 mini loaf pans
Top the meat mixture with additional BBQ sauce and place in preheated 350 degree oven until meat tests cooked. (Approx. 1 hour)
Serve with vegetables and either mashed potatoes or fries
Jacqueline says: This freezes well and you can either freeze uncooked to cook later or cook at time of prep. and warm later (thaw overnight) Also, I love to slice leftovers, place in a fry pan and pour BBQ sauce over the slices and heat (almost to carmelization). Delicious as a sandwich. Cold works just as well in a sandwich.
