Italian Chicken Sandwiches
This recipe is wonderful for the Summer months. Make a large crock pot
full and keep it in the fridge for quick lunches or dinners. The chicken
would also be great as a salad topper.
buns mozzarella slices italian seasoning lettuce and tomato (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients in the crock pot.
Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 6-8.
When done, remove chicken from sauce, and shred with two forks. Add a small amount of the (1/4 to 1/2 cup) of the stewed vegetables from the sauce (strained to remove the excess moisture).
Spoon chicken on to your favorite rolls, and top with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with additional Italian Seasoning if desired. Add lettuce and tomato if desired.
