Instant Pot: Lasagna Soup
1 lb hamburger 1/2 onion, chopped 1 tbsp olive oil 1 jar of pasta sauce 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp Italian seasoning salt and pepper 1 1/2 cups dry rigatoni pasta 3 cups water 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded mozza
Turn instapot on to SAUTE. Brown hamburger with oil and onions until no longer pink. Turn instapot OFF.
Add pasta sauce and seasonings to the hamburger mixture. Stir well.
Place the dry pasta on top of the hamburger. Do not mix. Add water and still DO NOT mix.
Place lid on instapot, and seal. Turn on MANUAL and set to HIGH for 4 minutes.
When the time is up, do a quick release and turn the machine OFF. Add the ricotta or cottage cheese, and mix well. Sprinkle mozzarella on the top and place the lid back on. DO NOT turn the instapot on. Wait 5 minutes and then remove lid and serve.
