Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 tbsp oil 1 medium onion sliced 2 green peppers, sliced 2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 heaping tbsp brown sugar water, if necessary
Instructions
Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Shape into patties (you should be able to get about 6).
Brown patties on all sides, in skillet with oil. Remove from pan, and drain off grease.
In same pan saute onions and green pepper slices until slightly cooked. Add in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger and brown sugar. Mix well.
Add the meat patties back into the pan, covering with sauce and cover with a lid. Simmer until meat is cooked through. (Add water if you need to thin out the sauce).
