6 cubed steaks ½ cup flour ¼ tsp pepper 1 tbsp oil 1 onion, sliced 2 cups water
– 1 envelope brown gravy mix 1 envelope mushroom gravy mix 1 envelope onion gravy mix 1 cup water
Place flour and pepper in large ziploc bag. Coat one cubed steak at a time in the bag.
Brown steaks on both sides in pan with hot oil.
Place in the bottom of crockpot.
Cover steaks with sliced onions and 2 cups water.
Cook on high for 4 hours or low 6-8 hours.
In a small bowl, combine 3 envelopes of gravy mix with 1 cup water. Pour into the crockpot near the end of its cooking cycle, stirring slightly. Cover, and cook for another 30 minutes until the gravy has thickened.
