Crock Pot Roast and Gravy
1 roast - 3 to 4 lbs (cheaper the cut the more tender it will be after cooking in the crock pot) vegetables of your choosing - root vegetables always work well such as potatoes, carrots, also onions and celery. Add as much as require 2 pouches of onion soup mix (or make your own) 2 cans (undiluted) of cream of mushroom soup (cream of celery works well too)
Place the roast in the bottom of your crock pot. Arrange vegetables around the meat.
In a small bowl combine all of the soups and mix well. Pour soup mixture over top of the vegetables and roast.
Cook on high for 4-6 hours (depending on the size of the roast) or low for 6-8 hours.
