Crock Pot Beef Dip Sandwiches
This cast iron braising pan is what I used to make this recipe.
This crock pot dinner is so easy to make, with the minimal amount of ingredients. Toss it all in the crock pot before work, let it simmer while you're away and the family will have a wonderful meal to share together at the end of the day. Leftovers are even better!
Ingredients
Large boneless roast (3-4 lbs - rump, chuck or whatever is on sale) 2 cans French onion soup undiluted 1 soup can beef broth provolone slices buns
Cut the roast up into large chunks (4" or so). Place in the bottom of the crock pot.
Add in French onion soup and beef broth. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 6-8 hours.
Remove beef and slice thinly.
Place a slice of cheese on each bun, and top with a healthy amount of beef slices. We like to heat ours up in the microwave to melt the cheese, after this step.
Serve with the soup from the crock pot as a dipping sauce.
