Chocolate Mayo Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting
Ingredients
2 cups flour 2/3 cup cocoa 1 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp baking powder 3 eggs 1 2/3 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup of mayonnaise 1 1/3 cup water
Combine eggs, vanilla and sugar. Add in mayonnaise and water.
Add baking soda and baking powder. Combine until well mixed.
Slowly add in flour and cocoa and mix until you have a smooth batter. Pour into a prepared 9x13 pan and bake at 350 F for 30-40 minutes, until center is set.
Allow to cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
Beat together:
3 cups confectioner's sugar 1/3 cup peanut butter 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup milk (you can add a little more if needed)
