Chik Fil A Mac and Cheese
Ingredients 4 cups dry macaroni 1 tbsp salt 1 lb American cheese (I used Velveeta) 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese 1 tbsp of grated romano cheese 2 cups heavy cream 4 ounces shredded colby/jack cheese
Fill a large put 2/3's full with water. Add salt. When boiling add pasta and cook until the macaroni is el dente. Drain and set aside.
In a medium pot add heavy cream, American cheese (cubed), and parmesan and romano cheese. Stir frequently over med/high heat and be careful not to scorch. As soon as the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth, remove from the het.
Turn oven on broil.
Spray a 9x13 pan with baking spray. Pour in the cooked macaroni.
Pour the melted cheese over top of the pasta. Sprinkle the colby/jack cheese on top.
Place under the broiler, until top layer of cheese is melted and bubbly and beginning to brown.
Allow to it for 10-15 minutes before serving. The leftovers are even better!
