Cherry Cheesecake Danish Biscuits
For a special breakfast, brunch, tea or dessert, this quick and easy
recipe is one you're going to make often. I had some left over cherry
pie filling and these were super economical to pull together.
Ingredients
1 can Grands biscuits sugar (for coating biscuits) 2 oz cream cheese, room temperature 1 tbsp sugar 1/8 tsp almond extract cherry pie filling
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar water
Instructions
Remove biscuit from can, and separate into 8 pieces. Flatten each one slightly and sprinkle both sides with a small amount of sugar.
Press biscuits into muffin tin, making a well in the middle.
Cream together 1 tbsp sugar, almond extract and cream cheese. Place a small amount in the bottom of each biscuit cup.
Spoon cherry pie filling on top of cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
When cooled mix together icing sugar with enough water to make a glaze and drizzle over top.
*You could also use blueberry or apple filling as well. Use your imagination!
