1 ½ lbs ground beef 1 large onion 1 large can whole tomatoes 2 green peppers chopped into 1 inch pieces 1 cup sour cream 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup 1/2 can of milk 1 can of water 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce seasoning salt pepper sweet basil leaves 1 pkg wide egg noodles
Cook noodles as directed, drain and set aside.
Brown ground beef and add chopped onion and peppers, in Dutch oven. Drain and return to pan.
Add soup, milk and water to the ground beef. Add can of whole tomatoes (drained or undrained, its your choice) Stir to combine well. Add in sour cream and again, mix well and stir until well combined. Add in Worcestershire sauce, basil, seasoning salt and pepper to taste.
Add in drained noodles when the sauce is creamy. Toss it together and cook until noodles are reheated, being careful not to scorch the bottom.
You could also place this in a casserole dish, sprinkle with cheese and cook until heated through.
