A super easy family dinner that can easily be made at the last minute with a few pantry staples.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 28 oz can baked beans (I used Bush's beans with brown sugar) 1/4 cup ketchup 1/4 cup bbq sauce 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 can of biscuits
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Prepare a 9x9 baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large skillet, scramble fry the ground beef with the chopped onion, until the beef is no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper. Drain off excess grease as needed.
In the same skillet, add in the baked beans, ketchup and BBQ sauce. Heat through.
Pour meat mixture into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
Slice canned biscuits in 1/2 and arrange on top of the cheese layer.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the biscuits are browned and the meat mixture is bubbly.
