Amish Cinnamon Pudding
Note: I halved the recipe and made it in an 8x8 pan. The recipe below is for a 9x13 baking pan.
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup cold water 1 tbsp butter 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp melted butter 1 cup milk 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Combine first three ingredients together in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and then pour into the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl.
Combine milk and melted butter. Add to the dry ingredients and mix well. Pour the batter over the brown sugar syrup layer.
Sprinkle pecans or walnuts on top.
Bake at 350 F for 35-45 minutes. Be careful not to overcook it.
