I've made a commitment to using only fresh, home-made dressings and vinaigrettes for one year. Below are some of my favorite recipes, and suggestion from our friends over at Mom's Pantry's Facebook page. I'll be adding to this page as I make progress.
Check out the slideshow below for great dressings to top your salads!
Thanks to Pioneer Woman (and her Aunt Trish) I made my very first homemade salad dressing yesterday. The ingredients were simple enough and the flavor is fresh and full! (and this was so easy!)
Ingredients 3/4 cup olive oil juice of two lemons 4 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated 1/4 tsp salt (I used Uncle Bob's country seasoning) dash of pepper 1/4 tsp sugar dash of paprika 1 clove of garlic, peeled (not chopped)
I simply combined all the ingredients in a container, gave it a shake, and put in the fridge for 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
I love it!
I'll be adding more recipes here real soon! Stay tuned!
