Cinnamon Pudding
Ingredients
Cake/Pudding
1 cup white sugar 2 cups flour 2 tbsp butter 2 tsp cinnamon 1 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 2 tbsp baking powder pinch of salt
Cream together the butter and the sugar until creamy. Add in the rest of the ingredients, and mix well.
Pour into a prepared 9x9 pan. Cover with the syrup (recipe below).
Bake 350F for 35-40 minutes.
Syrup
2 cups brown sugar 1 1/2 cups water 2 tbsp butter
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar, and remove from the heat. Pour over the cake/pudding batter while the syrup is still warm.
